Finding patients for every area of the business

Challenge

While leading advocacy for a commercial-stage biotech, we were asked to find patients who could share their stories of improvement with the FDA.

Solution

Working collaboratively with clinical operations, legal, and compliance we crafted an invitation for clinical sites to send to patients who wished to share their experience. Over the course of 18 months, we also compliantly collected in-depth patient journeys from advocacy groups, and patient interactions from more than 200 people. We were able to ensure these stories showcased the diversity of lived experiences from a racial, age, geographic and socioeconomic background.

Impact

Because of this broad repository, we were able to identify a story that addressed whatever business question or need the client had, including multiple testimonies for an FDA Advisory Committee’s open public hearing.
